SMP for Alopecia
Scientifically speaking, the term alopecia refers, in general, to hair loss. There are many different types of alopecia and the various terms speak to both the general cause, as well as how expansive it is. However, in modern society we have come to understand alopecia as the total loss of hair on the scalp and/or the body. An alopecia totalis client will have lost all hair on the scalp but will have maintained eyebrows and eyelashes as well as body and facial hair. An alopecia universalis client, as the name implies, has completely lost all hair on the head, face, and body.
